Born in Milan, Giulio Peranzoni worked as a cartoonist and illustrator for the most important national newspapers (the Republic, Corriere della Sera, the Unit) and for several advertising agencies. He also has numerous collaborations with publishers in the field of educational books and for boys. In addition to the work of illustrator he also devotes himself to painting and sculpture. Since 2001 lives and works in Massa Carrara. He has taught at the European Design Institute (IED), at the School of Comics in Milan and at the Scuola del Castello Sforzesco and at the Lycian "Russoli" in Pisa. From 1992 to 1998 he was president of the Illustrator Association. In 2010 he published the e-book "E-DRAWING" for e-publisher Area51 in which he describes the new types of digital illustrations in electronic publishing.
