Emperor Kōgen
Kōgen (孝 元 天皇, Kōgen-tennō; ... - ...) was the eighth emperor of Japan according to the traditional list of emperors.
No definite date can be assigned to him or to his kingdom and is considered by historians as a legend.
In Kojiki and in Nihonshoki only his name and his genealogy appear. The Japanese traditionally accept their historical existence, and a tomb is attributed to it, but no contemporary studio supports the theory that it really existed.
