Lianshan Zhuang and Yao Autonomous Arrondissement or Lianshan is an autonomous district in the Guangdong city prefecture of Qingyuan in the People's Republic of China. The most common spoken dialects are Yao dialects, Cantonese dialects and Zhuang dialects. The government office is located in the large municipality of Jitian / 吉田. Lianshan is one of the three autonomous arrondissements in the Chinese province of Guangdong and has existed since 26 September 1962 under the name of Lianshan Zhuang and Yao Autonomous Arrondissement. Only 35% of the population is Han-Chinese. There are about 100,000 people living in Lianshan and it has an area of 1265 km².
