The Elisabetta Market is a permanent grocery and florist market located in the heart of the Schwabing district of Munich. It is dedicated to Elizabeth of Bavaria, who was born in Munich, known to the world as "Princess Sissi". Since 1898 the market and the adjacent street bear the name of the empress, daughter of Duke Massimiliano Giuseppe in Bavaria.

The market was founded in 1903 and was originally made up of a large, purpose-built building. This construction was destroyed in World War II. Today the market consists of stone stalls of the same shape as many small houses. Other designers wikitesto
