For honor

Ad honorem is a Latin phrase that literally means "for honor".

It refers to a charge, title, or function whose assignment is attributed to the recipient by special assignments: for example, a honorary degree is a honorary academic title conferred by a university (or other equivalent institution) to a person who has distinguished himself in the matter in a particular way during his life.

The word "honor" is generally considered to be "honoris causa". Notemodify wikitesto Voices correlateemodify wikitesto
