Jón Magnússon
Jon Magnússon (Adaldalur, January 16, 1859 - Neskaupstaður, 23 June 1926) was an Icelandic politician. He was Prime Minister of Iceland for two terms of office. During his first term as prime minister, from January 4, 1917 to March 7, 1922, he was a member of the Independence Party (Home Rule Party). After that he became a member of the Conservative Party of Iceland. His second term as prime minister was from March 22, 1924 to June 23, 1926. At the same time, he was minister of justice. He was minister of justice.
He was married to Þóra Jónsdóttir. Also see
