Parallel is the term for the part of verbal communication that does not directly with the words and text, but does everything with the use of the human voice. These include things like speech rate, articulation, volume of voice and intonation. Paratally must be distinguished from all forms of non-verbal communication, which includes the body language. The use of different clamping tones (non-verbal) gives this sentence a completely different meaning
