Pharmacy The Love
R. Rijksen Gzn. (1854 - 1924) was a Dutch architect. In the city of Utrecht he designed various buildings in Art Nouveau. A famous design of his hand is that of pharmacy De Love at the Neude. It was built around 1904 and was recognized as a national monument in 2001. Other designs of Rijksen in Utrecht are the houses on the Emmalaan 21-41 (1898, national monuments), Vredenburg 3 (converted 1904, national monument) and Bakkerstraat 27/29 (corner building with the Steenweg, 1905).
