The Andreas Bonnstraat is a street in Amsterdam-East. A striking building is the bath house Andreas Bonnstraat at the Boerhaaveplein, halfway down the street. The Badhuistheater is located in this bathhouse. In the past, the Amstel Brewery was on the corner of this street and the Mauritskade. This is where new construction has been erected.

The street was named in 1897 and was named after Andreas Bonn (1738-1817), Amsterdam's professor of surgery.

The old Weesperpoort station was a major obstacle to the Oosterpark neighborhood until 1939. From the Mauritskade the Andreas Bonn street was the main connection to the Oosterpark. Public transport

From 1906, tram line 11 drove through the street. Following the demolition of the Weesperpoort station, tram tracks were laid in 1942 in the new Wibautstraat and the Ruyschstraat. From 1942 to 1944 line 11 traveled via this route. The tracks in the Andreas Bonnstraat were broken up and since then it is a secondary street. 52° 21′ 35″ NB, 4° 54′ 42″ OL
