Café The Tasting Room

Café Het Proeflokaal is a former house on the Parade in the inner city of the Dutch city of Venlo. Later it was converted into a cafe.

Probably the first construction activities date back to the late Middle Ages, but this is not entirely clear. It is clear, however, that the building originated in the late 18th century. In 1906 the building was renovated in neoromanian style with neoromanian elements. According to research, the sculpted sections are likely to refer to former guild houses.

The lower floor was adapted to modern developments over time, but the property remained virtually in the same state as after the 1906 renovation, both interior and exterior. Externe link Also see
