The Green Party (in Romanian Partidul Verde) is a Romanian environmentalist party and member of the European Green Party.
Despite its support for environmental issues such as carbon reforestation and reduction, the Green Party also has some advocates of free market policies such as the privatization of state-owned enterprises. It supports the extension of individual rights as well as greater separation between State and Church, including the gradual removal of all state funding for religious institutions.
