Martin Handford


Martin Handford (Hampstead, London, 1956) is an English children's book writer and illustrator who has been acquainted with his "Where's Wally?" books from the nineties. "Where is Wally?".

His Wally series came down to the fact that in these so-called search books, in large illustrations, a red and white-dressed man had to be found: Wally. The books appeared in more than 25 countries, including Japan and the United States. From 1987 there were six classic "Where is Wally?" - books, ranging in difficulty. In addition, Handford published a number of special Wally books, which were primarily intended as merchandise, such as collecting albums and sticker books.
