Bavarian government medal for social services

The Bavarian State Social Welfare Medal, in German "Bayerische Staatsmedaille für Soziale Verdienste", was awarded in 1970 for the first time. The medal is granted to citizens who have made particular merit for the Free State of Bavaria and its citizens.

On the front of the medal awarded approximately 20 times a year, "Für Besondere Soziale Dienste" is on the backside, and on the reverse side is the Bavarian weapon with the text "Bayerisches Staatsministerium für Arbeit und Sozialordnung, Familie und Frauen".

This bribe has no ribbon and can not be worn.
