In 1903, English entrepreneurs in Ratingen founded the Twyfordsche Werke ceramics factory. At the factory many English guest workers worked in their free time soccer and they founded FC Viktoria Ratingen in early 1904. The club joined the West German football federation and was classified in the Lower Rhine competition. With two points lead at FC 1894 Munich-Gladbach, the club immediately became a champion in 1905/06. This put the club in front of the West German final round. In a group phase with Cölner FC 1899, Duisburger SpV and SuS Schalke in 1896 the club got a 9-0 turn around the ears of Duisburg and lost home with only 0-1. The other games were not played anymore, the games against Cölner FC were counted as victory for Cölner FC while the match against Schalke was counted as defeat for both teams.

The club's best players switched to Düsseldorfer FC 99 and the club was lifted during the current season. Erelijst
