Karl Max Liniger (Bern, June 6, 1901 - Geneva, 1965) was a Swiss Esperanto. He was president of the UEA.
In 1936 Liniger led the UAE Provisional Committee and in 1939 became the chairman of the Board, although in principle he was a member of the UAE of Berlin. His successor was Hans Hermann Kürsteiner, elected in 1940.
When UEA and Internation Esperanto-Ligo were merged in 1947, Liniger, an honorary member of the UEA in 1940, became honorary president of the new organization.
