Marco Silio Messalla (Latin: Marcus Silius Messalla; fl 193; ... - ...) was a Roman senator.

Messalla was sued consul in 193, from May to June. He received the announcement by Septimus Severo, who was moving toward Rome, that the assassins of his predecessor Pertinace were to be arrested. The Senate, during a meeting requested by Messalla, disposed of the death sentence of Didio Giuliano, the proclamation of Severus to Emperor, and the divinization of Pertinace.

It is possible but not sure that Silio Messalla was condemned to death by Emperor Eliogabalo in 218 as the 193 console. Notemodify wikitesto Bibliografiamodifica wikitesto
