Utrechtse Transport Company

The N.V. Utrechtse Transport Company (UVO) was a Dutch bus company operating from Utrecht to Kockengen from 1957 to 1968.

The UVO was established by the bus company Vereenigde Auto Vervoer Ondernemingen "Van Iperen and Verhoef" (VAVO) in Schoonhoven, when in spring 1957 it was possible to take over the Utrecht-Vleuten - Haarzuilens - Kockengen line of Kockengense Auto Bus Company (KABO)) in Vleuten, the company of W. de Haas. Like the predecessor KABO and parent company VAVO, the UFS was affiliated with the Coordination Car Carrier Personnel (CAP), in which 11 private carriers were united. The UVO began with three ex-VAVO tour buses (numbers 43, 49 and 50), which had been on for seven heavy years. A bus with the number 67 was the one that once had a "UVO-Utrecht" heading. The starting point of the UVO line was located on the north side of Utrecht CS, where the thoroughbred tracks ended.

At the KABO, and later the UVO, a route permit was issued within the Dutch and Dutch Crown allocated regional transport area. On November 1, 1968, after the bankruptcy of VAVO, Maarse & amp; Correctly crown the UVO line and made line 17 of. Nowadays, U-OV line 127 provides the connection with Kockengen.
