Advertising pillar in the form of a scratch post
An advertising pillar is a high mast on which billboards are placed, usually three around. The advantage of a column above other shapes is that a column occupies little ground area, while the height can be up to 40 meters. Some advertising pads rotate slowly. Advertising pads are often placed at traffic junctions. Certain firms make their advertisements striking by "piling up" the column with illuminated or moving objects. Also see Media files
