Transport Safety Council

The Transport Security Council (RVTV) was an independent body investigating accidents involving road and aviation traffic until 1 February 2005. Prof. Mr. Pieter van Vollenhoven was the chairman of this board.

This board was set up on January 1, 1999 and was the successor to the Railways Accident Board, the Board of Aviation and the Commission on Inland Traffic Disasters.

As of February 1, 2005, the RvTV was followed by the Security Council.
