Rose Murphy is a travesty act of Eric Knijpstra (Utrecht, 4 September 1967).
Rose Murphy has become famous in the Netherlands for her various drag show performances. For example, during the Night Suite she has regularly given the présence and in early 2009 she spent a lot of attention at the Haram Girls. Since 2001, Rose has been working to get the showtravestion out of taboos. Partly because of her efforts, the showtravestion became popular in the Netherlands.
In 2009 Rose was voted Miss Travesty 2009. In addition to her live performances, she plans to raise awareness of dragqueen-related events. Since 2015, she has released "Dragpalace" music to avoid confusion with the jazz singer Rose Murphy (1913-1989). Singles Television Externe link
