SIL Open Font License

The SIL Open Font License is a license for fonts, prepared by SIL International. The OFL allows to copy, use, change and distribute the relevant fonts. However, a derivative font may, unless authorized by the copyright holder, not bear the same name as the original; Also, an OFL-licensed font may not be sold individually. A document that contains an OFL-licensed font is not covered by the OFL; This applies only to the font itself. A derivative font must in all cases be licensed under the OFL.

The goals of the OFL are to stimulate global developments in joint font projects, support academic and linguistic communities, and provide a free and open framework in which fonts can be shared and improved in collaboration with others. < / p>
