Mill number 1 was an eight-sided mill built in 1648 in the municipality of Zuidplas. It is the submarine of the seven-mills rifle course. The shipwreck was seen from the front bosom seen left.
The mill is taken to Moerkapelle. It is a polder mill type of ground sailor located at the Rottedijk. In the past, this mill pumped water from the Wild Veen in the Rat. After milling, the mill was redundant. Therefore the mill was truncated (wicks and the pump system were removed), so that the mill became a house. In 1984, the Hoogheemraadschap van Schieland sold the truncated mill to the former mill engineer. 52° 2′ 44″ NB, 4° 33′ 52″ OL
