Timothy Zahn (Chicago, Illinois), September 1, 1951) is an American science fiction writer. Zahn studied physics at the University of Illinois.
Zahn is famous for his Star Wars Thrawn trilogy, which continues to return of the Jedi. This work had a series of follow-up books by other writers. Lahn later wrote two Star Wars books (The Hand of Thrawn series) and contributed to collecting bundles. Popular is also his Conqueror's trilogy.
Zahn won the Hugo Award in 1984 with the novel Cascade Point. Partial bibliography
