Geertruida Hermanna Louisa Christina (Louise) Thomassen at Thuessink van der Hoop of Slochteren (Slochteren, 19 October 1915 - 9 July 2008) was the last inhabitant of the Fraeylemaborg in Slochteren.

Van der Hoop, member of the Van der Hoop family, was a daughter of Evert Jan Thomassen at Thuessink van der Hoop van Slochteren, mayor of Sappemeer from 1917 to 1925. During that period, the family lived on the second estate, the Borg Welgelegen, owned by her mother's family, Catharina Cornelia Star Numan. When her father became Mayor of Slochteren in 1925, the family moved to Fraeylemaborg. Louise received a strict and classical education, surrounded by ministers and educated in French. On August 26, 1948, she married François van Panhuys (1914-1969) from the castle and settled with her husband in the Gelderse Hummelo, where he was Mayor since 1951. Her father died in 1952 and her mother in 1965. After the death of her husband in 1969 Louise returned to Fraeylemaborg with her 3 daughters Kitty, Mieke and Ulrica. The maintenance of the deposit was no longer apparent by paying her. In 1971 the estate was sold to the Gerrit van Houten Foundation and left the last family Fraeylemaborg.

Van der Hoop regretted in 1977 with Jan Leendert Groenveld, whom she knew from her gymnasium. She settled 200 meters from the castle in Het Hoge Huys, a former 17th-century retreat, which is still in the possession of the family. Here in mid 2008 Louise Thomassen died at Thuessink van der Hoop from Slochteren at the age of 92. On July 15 of that year she was taken to her last resting place by car. Four grandsons carried her from Fraeylemaborg outside.
