Great Mosque of Tasikmalaya (1925-1933).

Masjid Agung Tasikmalaya is a mosque in the center of Tasikmalaya, Indonesia.

The large mosque has been completely refurbished several times. The oldest documents found so far indicate that the mosque was built from 1886 to 1888 after the command of Tumenggung Raden Aria Suryaatmaja regiment with an area of ​​400 square meters.

The last (complete) renovation was carried out in 2000 using architect Slamet Wirasonjaya. The costs amounted to 7.9 billion Roepia. The area currently covers 2456 square meters and the mosque can accommodate 8000 pilgrims.
