The Heritage House and the Community Center André De Ganck form one whole.
André De Ganck (1910 - Moortsele, 2004) was the last mayor of the former Belgian municipality of Moortsele (Oosterzele). He was in office from 1971 to 1977, the year of the merger of the Belgian municipalities. Community Center
André De Ganck was a professor of occupation and lectured in Massemen and Ghent. In his village, he was chairman of the local Davidsfonds.
In 2007, the Community Center André De Ganck was opened next to the Heritage House, which makes it a whole. All this is behind the Sint-Amanderkerk of Moortsele and served for almost two centuries as a pastor, since 1781. Externe link
