Richard Edward "Eddy" Arnold (Henderson, Tennessee), May 15, 1918 - Nashville (Tennessee), May 8, 2008) was an American singer of country and pop music that was very successful from the forties to the sixties. < / p>

He reached 27 times in the country charts and sold over 86 million albums.

People who were Arnold's fan include Elvis Presley (who, like Arnold Colonel Tom Parker, had manager), Ray Charles and Jerry Lee Lewis.

In 1966 Arnold was recorded in the Country Music Hall of Fame.
