Hendrik Alingh (Gasselte, christened 22 September 1726 - Roden, May 12, 1798) was a Dutch schulte. Life and work

Alingh was the eldest son of Gasselte's scholar Jan Alingh. In March 1740, at the age of 14, he was named Roden's schulte. During his minority, Thijle Krijthe was appointed as his wanderer (deputy). He was from 1748 to 1791, so over 50 years, Schulte van Roden. In 1791, at his request, he was granted a resigned resignation by the citizen Willem V. He passed away on May 12, 1798 at Roden at the age of 72.

He married Roden on April 22, 1768, with Grietjen IJbes, widow of Pieter Eitens. After her death, he married Roden on February 25, 1776 with Jantien Garbrandts, daughter of Garbrant Harms and Roelofje Luichjens, widow of Geert Tyles Krijthe. She was a daughter-in-law of his deputy Thijle Krijthe.
