A leaflet is a text with a warning and informative character in a product or legal act.

Medical package leaflet

A medical package leaflet is legally required and strictly controlled. In the Netherlands by the Dutch Medicines and Health Products Agency, the Dutch Medicines Agency and Belgium. Only when the text is complete and clear, and the information is supported by scientific research, a leaflet may be printed and distributed.

While most adapters are tested for readability by a consumer panel, many people find that the leaflet is difficult to read. This is mainly due to all medical terms used.
