Fotoform was a group founded in 1949 by photographer Otto Steinert. Until 1958 it was the forefront of the forefront of German western photographers. Other collaborators were Peter Keetman, Ludwig Windstoßer, Toni Schneiders, Wolfgang Reisewitz, Siegfred Lauterwasser, Heinz Hajek-Halke and Christer Christian (aka Swedish photographer Christer Strömholm).
He did photographic experiments and tried to draw attention to the creative possibilities of photography that had been canceled by Nazi cultural politics. Notemodify wikitesto
