He RAF-977
The RAF-977 was a commercial vehicle produced by Rigas Autobusu Fabrika in the then Soviet Union, now Latvia, with components of the GAZ-21 Volga.
Introduced in 1958, it was available with various outfits including a minibus and a van version. In 1962, the RAF-977D improved version was produced in Riga plants. Since 1966, due to the small size of these plants, the production of this vehicle was moved to the ErAz factories located in Yerevan, Armenia.
