Sickle wax shield (Bupleurum falcatum), also called Sikkeldoorwas, is a plant belonging to the family of the screen family (Umbelliferae or Apiaceae). He is the only one in this family who does not wear composite leaves.
The plant has lancet-shaped leaves, which sometimes resemble haze ears. He grows to 20 to 100 cm and is blooming from July to the end of September.
