T.R. (Taco) Seinstra (1941) is a Dutch politician of the CDA.
He graduated from the law and worked at the State Council and the Ministry of Housing for his employment at the Purmerend municipality, where he became director of governance and where he was also the first locomotive secretary. In August 1978, Seinstra became Mayor of Nieuwkoop and followed his appointment to Mayor of Goes more than 10 years later.
In the fall of 1992, he was fooled by Minister Dales of Home Affairs for declaring 3900 guilders (almost 1800 euros) for trips that did not work. With that, Seinstra was the first mayor in the Netherlands since the Second World War, who was foolished.
