Fram museum

The Frammuseum in Oslo

The Frammuseum (Norwegian: Frammuseet) is a museum in the Norwegian capital Oslo, dedicated to Norwegian poolexpedities. The museum was opened in 1936. It thanks its name to the ship Fram, which was taken in 1893, and now one of the top pieces of the museum.

Various poo fleet expeditions are exposed in the museum. For example, there is a permanent exhibition about the expedition of the later Nobel Prize winner Fridtjof Nansen, who is feeding on the Fram to the North Pole, then attempting to cross the North Pole. There is also attention to the North and South Pole expeditions of Roald Amundsen and Otto Sverdrup. In addition to objects and documents, the museum also has a large collection of animals from the polar areas, such as polar bears and penguins. In addition to the permanent collection, the museum has an ever-changing program of temporary exhibitions. Also see Externe link
