Hong Tiek Hiantempel is a Chinese temple in Surabaya, Indonesia. The temple is located on the Jalan Dukuh, near the Chinese neighborhood of Northern Soerabaja. It is the oldest temple of this East Java city. It was built at the beginning of the Modjopahit Kingdom. The builders were members of the Tartar army unit of Kubilai Khan.
The temple has many visitors. Every day there are performances of Budai opera, a Minnish variant of puppetry. The performances are about ancient Chinese stories.
