Jacob Jan Cambier (Vianen, June 29, 1756 - Wassenaar, October 4, 1831) was a patriot and Dutch minister. He belonged to the Haarlem rulers before 1795 and became a member of the First National Assembly in 1796. Cambier was in the Batavian Republic of War and under Louis Napoleon Minister of Trade and War and Vice-President of the State Council. Following the coup of January 22, 1798, he was imprisoned and imprisoned at Huis Ten Bosch. He was released by decision of 10 July 1798.
