Antonio Galassi (before 1780 - perhaps Braga, after 1792) was an Italian songwriter and teacher, active mainly in Portugal.
Almost nothing is known about his life, since no research has been published on his account today. In his youth his musical formation was probably in Naples. Later, between 1780 and 1792, he was active in Portugal at the service of Don Gaspar, archbishop of Braga. In this period almost exclusively composed sacred music, including a Te Deum.
The few works that have come together follow the typical taste of the Neapolitan music school, coupled with the use of both a vocal and instrumental, of considerable scope.
