Tros, the legendary founder of Troy, had a son, Assaraco (or Assarco), who took his seat on the throne of Troy at the command of all Dardans. Because of his offspring, the Romans were also called domus Assas.

He was King of Troy, and he had as his wife Ieromnene, who gave birth to Capi (sometimes referred to as Capys), Anchise's father, who created Enea.

Assarco had two brothers: Ilo the young man and Ganimede from the famous beauty, as well as a sister, Cleopatra the young man. However, according to another tradition, Ganimede was not the brother of Assarco, but his son, whom he would have created with Ieromnene. Bibliografiamodifica wikitesto
