After being defeated by Peleo, Amintore gave him Crantore as a slave and made his squirrel. He was faithful to the famous Centauromachia, or Lapiti's battle against the Centauri, during which one of the monsters, such Demoleonte, launched a tree against Teseo after eradicating it, but he managed to escape in time: the tree struck instead Crantore , who was killed.

The centaur asteroid 83982 Crantor is named after it. Bibliografiamodifica wikitesto Fontimodifica wikitesto Modernamodifica wikitesto Voices correlateemodify wikitesto
