Medal of Earnings of the Civil Guard


The Danish Civil Guard's Merit Medal, (Danish: "Home Warning Sign"), is a distinction from the Civil Guard, the "Home Guard" of Denmark.

The medal was set up on February 11, 1959, and is mainly handed to commanding officers and politicians.

The round silver medal is carried on the left breast to a five-sided folded red silk ribbon with seven narrow white stripes. A baton can be worn on the left breast.

The carriers may receive the letters Hjv.Ft. Behind their name.
