The Raf and Ronny Show was a Flemish sitcom about two unemployed actors who, on the one hand, regularly try to sweep amoureous conquests, but on the other hand, defend themselves unitedly against third parties. Certainly their landlord Rudy De Ruyck is a common enemy. Because they are always behind paying their rent, he can easily abuse them for all sorts of annoying tasks.
The program with Stany Crets and Peter Van Den Begin as scenarios and protagonists surpassed the Flemish sitcom genre through the double bottoms, absurd situations and self-esteem.
The Raf and Ronny Show, of which the program proposal was originally presented to the VRT but was not accepted, got a cult status and delivered VTM a whole host of new viewers.
