Leon Tombu


Léon Tombu (Andenelle, 1866 - Brussels, 1958) was a Belgian painter and graphic artist. biography

He was a student of Théodore Baron and of the Academy of Names. He painted landscapes, cityscapes, church interiors and flowers. His work is usually located in the Hoei (Huy) region.

In 1922 he was director and designer of the Ecole des Arts in Hoei. In 1899 he founded the art and literary circle "L'Essor de Huy".

He was also a specialist in the ancient ceramics of Andenne and Hoei Exhibition
