The entrance to the guest house Rustoord
The Rustoord is a former guesthouse in the city of Groningen, located on the Korreweg. It was founded in 1922 by the Diacon of the Reformed Church.
Previously, the Reformed diaconie had built a guesthouse on the Correweg, Avondrust. This was demolished in the 1930s, the inhabitants of that complex moved to Evening Light in Haren. The Rustoord was a bit more modest and intimidated next to Avondrust. Behind the Rustoord, the new building for the Ubbenagast house was built in 1923.
The Rustoord was renovated in 1985. The properties have since been leased by the Patrimonium housing association.
