Sebastiano Catania (Catania, January 11, 1853 - Catania, 1946) was an Italian mathematician.
In 1884 he obtained free teaching in Descriptive Geometry.
In 1888 he began teaching Mathematics at the Catania Institute of Nautical Devotion, devoting himself to Mathematics Didactics. She collaborated with the Mathematical and Pythagorean Periodicals.
He has engaged in a work of transposition of the hypothetical-deductive organization of mathematical propositions.
