Duke Ellington Bridge

The Duke Ellington Bridge is a bridge in the US city of Washington D.C. across the Rock Creek. The bridge is part of Calvert Street and connects 18th Street NW to Adams Morgan with Connecticut Avenue NW. South of the bridge is the Taft Bridge.

The bridge, originally called Calvert Street Bridge, is a design of Paul Philippe Cret in neoclassic style and built in 1935. The bridge replaced a steel 230 meter long bridge built by the Rock Creek Railway. 38 ° 55 '24 "NB, 77 ° 2' 54" WL
