Robby Dragman

Robby Koesman Dragman (Moengo, February 11, 1953) is a Surinam politician.

Following the 1996 parliamentary elections, Dragman became the Minister of Trade and Industry, under behalf of the Javanese KTPI, under President Jules Wijdenbosch. At the end of 1999 he had to get up early when there were strong indications of corruption after parliamentarians had shown to President Wijdenbosch documents of importers who had paid bribes to get goods. That same week, party fellow Ramon Dwarka Panday resigned as minister of defense because of persistent rumors about a criminal offense with minor girls. The KTPI's Sonny Kertoidjojo, from 1996 Minister of the Interior, took office.

In 2005, it was known that Willy Soemita wanted to terminate the presidency of the KTPI, where party secretary Robby Dragman was called as a possible successor. Later, Kertoidjojo was seen as the forthcoming chairman, but when he retired, Soemita became eligible for election, after which he could remain KTPI chairman.
