Emile Maurice Joseph Lamy


Emile Maurice Joseph Lamy (Amiens, December 12, 1895 - Bordeaux, August 28, 1975) was a French physician and geneticist.

Maurice Emile Joseph Lamy was the son of lawyer Eugène Lamy and his wife Gaillet.

He started his career at a hospital for sick children at Hôpital des Enfants Malades in Paris. With the contribution of Jean de Grouchy and Pierre Maroteaux studied hemolytic anemia, chromosomal aberrations and mucopolysaccharidosis.
