Gerolamo Biscaro


Gerolamo Biscaro, sometimes Girolamo B. (Treviso, August 29, 1858 - Rome, June 20, 1937) was an Italian jurist and historian.

The son of Antonio and Giovanna Piloni, in 1880, graduated in law from the University of Padua and began acting as a magistrate at first in Treviso, then at the Milan court and finally at the Supreme Court of Cassation. >

In 1924 he entered the Royal Commission for Code Reform, devoting in particular to civil law.

As a historian, he has devoted himself mainly to local history: firstly at an artistic level, collaborating with Luigi Bailo; later in the social and legal fields. Bibliografiamodifica wikitesto
