Messalla (floruit 280; ... - ...) was a politician of the Roman Empire.
In 280 he was appointed consul prior to Grato, and it was the first time that Emperor Probo did not take consolation during his reign.
Although an identification between Messalla and Giunio Messalla was mentioned in Historia Augusta Vita di Carino (20.4), it is preferable to link Messalla to the family of Valerii Messallae, who had provided a console in 196 (Lucio Valerio Messalla Trasea Prisco) and one in 214 (Lucio Valerio Messalla).
