Sandboxie is a program that runs other software in a sandbox, a closed environment on a computer. It can be used to test untrusted programs in a safe environment or to visit unsafe websites. Sandboxie is scarce and crippleware. The program is available for Windows NT-based operating systems, and therefore works on Windows 10. Sandboxie is released under a proprietary EULA. Certain features, such as simultaneous use of multiple sandboxes, are blocked in the unregistered version of Sandboxie.
